Welcome to Boca Sports & Wellness Development, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization now based in Boca Raton, Florida.
Originally established as PNW Sports & Wellness Development in California, our organization was built on the belief that sports and wellness can become powerful vehicles for development, education, community, and personal growth.
After 26 years of coaching, programming, and community involvement in California, we are excited to bring that experience and mission into our next chapter in Boca Raton.

Meet Our Founder
Coach Elsio Eybrecht
Born and raised on the Caribbean island of St. Maarten, Coach Elsio Eybrecht has spent more than three decades teaching, coaching, developing players, and exploring the connection between sports performance and personal development.
His journey has taken him from competitive tennis to coaching, from the development of the Tao of Tennis Competitive Edge Academy to the creation of PNW Sports & Wellness Development, and now to Boca Sports & Wellness Development, Inc.
Twenty-six years in California provided the foundation—working with players, families, schools, USTA programs, Junior Team Tennis, competitive players, camps, community initiatives, and youth development.
Today, that journey continues in Boca Raton, Florida, where Coach Elsio also provides tennis instruction and player-development services as an independent contractor with the City of Boca Raton at the Boca Swim & Racquet Club.
At the heart of his coaching philosophy is one simple principle:
“Learn how to Play the Ball and Not your Opponent.”

Through Boca Sports & Wellness Development, Inc., we seek to create and support opportunities that connect sports, schools, PTAs, families, community organizations, and player development.
Our mission is to use sports as a vehicle to introduce, develop, connect, and inspire.

Our work extends beyond the court through Swimming in the Ocean of Consciousness (SOC), transformational coaching, guided meditation, speaking, and personal-development concepts including Defeating the Monsters of the Mind.
Because sometimes the greatest competition isn’t against the person across the net.
It is learning to understand ourselves.

Wuthering Heights Consulting
Coach Elsio’s professional work also extends beyond coaching and nonprofit programming through Wuthering Heights Consulting.
Drawing upon more than three decades of experience in tennis operations, coaching and player development, programming, community sports, and organizational development, Wuthering Heights Consulting provides an avenue for Elsio to work with cities, tennis facilities, clubs, organizations, and community partners on the development and evolution of tennis and sports programs.
The consulting work brings together practical on-court experience with a broader understanding of tennis programming, player-development systems, facility operations, community engagement, and strategic sports development.
